The ASUU National President, Prof Biodun Ogunyemi, stated at a briefing in Abuja that its members should not be held responsible if there is any disruption in the university system. This is because the Federal Government has not shown commitment to carrying out the 2019 Memorandum of Action.
The official twitter handle of the Academic Staff Union of Universities released this lengthy statement earlier today:

The president of ASUU has requested that Nigerians should plead with the government to keep the terms of the agreement as it is their usual way to not keep any agreements made to them.
They have made it clear that the failure to keep the terms of their agreement that should have been put in place since February 15 to 28 of 2019, will lead to a disruption in the system.
In a nutshell, this means that unless the Federal Government keeps its end of the agreement they made with ASUU, there is about to be another ASUU strike.
