Charly Boy, protesters sprayed with water canons after demanding for Buhari’s resignation

Entertainment personality and activist, Charly Boy, along with protesters, in a protest demanding for President Buhari‘s resignation, was sprayed with water canons in Abuja.

According to Charly Boy, who tagged the protest ‘Our Mumu Don Do’, Nigerians deserve to get answers and be properly treated. ‘We have kept quiet for too long,’ he said.

In response to this, the Presidency, through its media aide, Shehu Sanni, told Charly Boy and the protesters that the president had properly handed over power to the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo before he proceeded on medical vacation.

Sanni posted on his Facebook page, ‘This is a time to stand by the president, as he has given so much to the country.

‘It is not too much for Nigerians to show love, care and understanding to Buhari in his trying moment.’
