Because most young men in Nigeria always get apprehensive when they encounter officers of the Nigerian police, DMW boss, Davido, surely deserves a superhero cape after he came to the rescue of a fan who was held at a checkpoint in Lagos last night.
The man identified as Samir, took to the Twitter platform to show gratitude to the musician who came to his aid after some policemen had stopped him while on a taxify ride, believing they were likely going to harass and extort him.
See his tweet.
So the police stopped my taxify ride a few minutes ago trying to question mans. @iam_Davido drove by and told the police to free me 😂😂 it was a movie. Too much love and respect for you man 🖤🖤 God bless you.
