Happening Now: Rhythm Unplugged Finally Kicks Off After Hours Of Delay Due To Lagos’ Traffic And Fuel Scarcity

The 2017 edition of the annual concert Rhythm Unplugged has finally kicked off at Eko Hotel after hours of delay due to the fuel scarcity being experienced in Lagos as well as the traffic that locked the entire city down for the better part of Friday.

Although it was billed to start at 8pm, fans didn’t start to trickle in until an hour later, forcing the start up time to well after 10 pm.

The roster as is as long as it is impressive: an array of Nigerian stars are expected to perform while the highlight of the night is the performance of Big Shaq‘s ‘Mans Not Hot’. The skit by British-Ghanaian Michael Dapaah was one of the most memorable social media moments of the outgoing year.
