The ‘See Me Live in Lagos Concert’ held at The Balmoral Convention Centre at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos was slated for 6 pm but didn’t kick off until about five hours later reports, with the singer out of sight.

When she emerged on stage at about 10:30 pm, Simi first apologized for starting late before going on to deliver a thrilling performance for her guests who waited patiently for her.

The morning after the show, the singer has again shared a video to apologize and explained the reasons for the unfortunate incident. According to Simi, an event took place on the same venue the previous night and so it was not so possible for her team to organize and set up the venue in so short a time.

Simi, however, took responsibility for everything that happened saying she was disappointed in herself and that she tried her best but it was not good enough.

“I’m sorry I’m probably more upset than everyone, but I accept responsibility., I hope I can find a way to make it up to you, please don’t judge me by this one thing, I love you,” Simi said as she ended her video.
