As the election season approaches, Nigerian actor Alex Ekubo has called out the government to fix the dilapidated state of the Nation.
This he did at the premiere of the movie Power Of 1, where he talked about what he would do if he had the power to change something in Nigeria.
I feel like the country is sitting on a keg of gunpowder right now and anything can go wrong at anytime. In fact it is a volatile situation. Do the right thing, don’t offer bribe, don’t collect bribe. If you are in government, you should be held accountable for resources.”

Speaking about other developed countries, Alex said “We are on the brink of 2019 and there is still no light in Nigeria and it’s crazy. The rest of the world has gone to space and back. Dubai is generations ahead of us and we are still here talking about electricity.”
Ekubo played the character of a frustrated artiste who decided to speak up to change the status quo of the society he lived in.
The movie features other A-list actors like Ramsey Nuoah, Annie Idibia, Rachael Oniga and a host of others
