The 55-year-old governor who has been the chief executive officer of the state since 2015, has often expressed his belief that along with being the economic capital of the West African region, Lagos State can indeed be the entertainment capital.
One Lagos Fiesta is a unique concept that has not been seen anywhere on the African continent. For eight straight days in five distinct locations, residents of Lagos have the opportunity of attending free concerts at whichever venue they find themselves at.
At the grand finale, Governor Ambode will present the winners of Lagos Grows Talent with cheques ranging from one million to two hundred and fifty thousand naira. In addition, he will also select the winning entry at the raffle draw and hand over the keys to a brand new saloon car to the lucky winner before counting down the clock into the new year.
All of these and more will take place at the Eko Atlantic City venue. The countdown will also take place at the other four locations: Agege, Badagry, Epe and Ikorodu.
