Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels has been traditionally initiated into the Otu-Udu Group in line with the customary ritual of Anioma people of Delta state, southeast Nigeria, confirming and sealing her marriage to Ned Nwoko, a Nigerian billionaire and senator-elect.
The induction ceremony took place on Sunday, May 26, in Anioma Community in Delta state, where her new husband hails from.
Nigeria Entertainment News understands that the induction ceremony is an age-long tradition of initiation for newly married ladies into the women world of marriage.
Hence, the ceremony automatically gives Regina Daniels the right to enjoy all the privileges of a married woman.
The induction ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, high profile traditional personalities, high-level delegations from the Niger Delta community. The event was also attended by many Nigerian celebrities, such as Charles Inojie, Chinedu Ikedieze, and Ejike Asiegbu.
Videos and pictures from the occasion have started making the rounds on social media, such as the one posted by Chinedu Ikedieze, popular character of the “Aki and PawPaw”.
Since beginning a romantic affair with Nwoko, Daniels has attracted attention from the public by showing off her automobiles believed to have been bought for her by the billionaire.
