We are so pumped and looking forward 3 of Africa’s best music exports who will be lighting up the Born In Africa Festival this Sunday. These women have topped charts, won awards and collaborated with the best of music stars locally and internationally. Still not decided if you’d be attending BAFEST this Sunday? Meet the three women who will be lightening up our stage and thrilling us to back to back hits:

Tiwa Savage

Our very own award-winning singer, songwriter and Mavin Queen, Tiwa Savage will be live at BAFEST. You certainly can’t wait to get some ‘stewish’ performances from her. We’re looking forward to vibing to – Standing Ovation, Malo and maybe Kele Kele Love. (remember that?) South Africa’s finest rapper Sho Madjozi delivering hiphop bars in her local Tsonga language. Haven’t heard the Huku and Wakanda forever songs yet? Go listen and get ready, Sho Madjozi isn’t coming to play.

The world famous Mama Africa will be getting some ‘Johnnys’ grooving to her sound at BAFEST. Who knows, she might just be taking on the Makossa king, Awilo Longomba.
