Despite his humble beginnings from the streets of Mushin, Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe, AKA Wande Coal, has stood against all odds and has come a long way since his early days as a singer in the defunct MO’Hits Crew.
Black diamond as he is fondly called, was initially as a dancer on D’banj’s ‘Why Me’ till his unique talent was later projected by Don Jazzy, who signed him as one of the flagship artistes of the then Mo’Hits Records.
Over the years, Wande Coal who has since moved on to create his own record label ‘Black Diamond Entertainment’ has released classic songs like ‘Bumper to Bumper’, ‘Ololufe’, ‘The Kick’, plus recent hit songs like ‘Iskaba’, and the catchy ‘So mi so’.
It’s his 33rd birthday today, so we have put together five things we love about the talented vocalist and songwriter.
