The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, on Saturday announced the release of 1,792,719 results of candidates who sat for the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Saturday morning 11th May, in Abuja.
JAMB reveals that it simplified the way to check results for the 2019 examination in order to avoid the extortion of candidates.
JAMB clarifies that it had standardized its result checker process, saying that candidates who sat for the 2019 UTME can check their results via their phones through a text message with a registration number, instead of visiting a cyber cafe to check their results.

According to the spokesman for the board, Fabian Benjamin “Candidates should not bother themselves going to any cyber cafe to check any result. Our result check has been standardised. We will forward the results to the respective telephone numbers of those candidates who are deserving of it.”

The board stated that the UTME, which was conducted between April 11 and 17, 2019 across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, was painstaking but yielded a success story.
