According to The Blast, the state of Florida will be providing the money as Williams makes moves to determine if evidence investigators have gathered proves he committed a crime.

It’s been nearly four months the rapper was fatally shot while exiting a motorbike shop and over the past few months, the police have arrested and charged four suspects

Williams had explained to the judge he didn’t have the money to hire a private investigator himself, but his lawyer found one who would help build a defence by interviewing and tracking witnesses.

The suspect was also granted another $20,000 in order to hire an electronic evidence expert to look into the cell tower analysis as well as computer and cell phone forensics.

As the XXXTENTACION murder continues, his mother, Cleo Bernard, recently teamed up with Art by Bankrupt to raise funds for the XXX Foundation, Inc. The rapper also won the American Music Award for Best Soul/R&B album.
