American singer Ariana Grande is making an epic return to Manchester, two years after a suicide bomb attack killed 22 people during her ‘One Love Manchester’ concert.
According to information released by the organizers, Grande has been scheduled to headline at the Manchester Pride Live event later this year on August 25.
“We’re truly honored to be welcoming Ariana back to the city to help us celebrate LGBT+ life,” Chief executive Mark Fletcher said on Monday.
The 25-year-old Grande last performed in Manchester two weeks after the May 22, 2017 blast, taking part in a memorial concert, which she helped to organize in honour of her fans who were victims of the Manchester Arena attack.
Authorities in Manchester named Grande an honorary citizen of the city for her work in the wake of the attack.
