American rapper Belcalis Marienis Almanzar popularly known as Cardi B, has turned herself into the New York police after being charged with reckless endangerment and assault.
The incident saw Cardi B throwing chairs, bottles and smoking pipes at 3 am in the Angels strip club while two bartenders were assaulted. Jeff Kent, an attorney representing Cardi B, said his client is unaware of any harm caused and hopes the matter would be resolved quickly.
Meanwhile, the attorney representing the two bartenders in a statement said Cardi B committed violent assaults and is being called to justice as she has bragged about orchestrating the attacks and feels she is above the law because of her celebrity status. The court case has been scheduled for October 29.
Recall that in September, the rapper had an altercation with fellow rapper, Nicki Minaj at the New York Fashion Week event.
