Confirmed 2019 Election Result: Atiku edges Buhari in native Adamawa

Atiku Abubakar has added another state to his name after edging President Muhammadu Buhari in Adamawa State.

Atiku polled a total number of 410,266 votes in his native state while Buhari polled a total of 378,078 votes.

Total number of registered voters is 1,959,322 while total number of accredited voters is 874,920.

Total number of votes cast is 860,756. The total number of valid votes is 811,534 while the total number of rejected votes is 49,222.

The race for the presidential seat has gotten more intense as INEC reaches halfway in the announcement of election results.

The victory makes it the eight state Atiku has won out of 18 states (including the FCT) that have been announced so far.

The collation of election results is currently ongoing in Abuja.
