Kendall Jenner’s company along with the modelling agencies for Bella Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski could soon be slapped with subpoenas in a bankruptcy case linked to the failed Fyre Festival.

A judge gave the go-ahead Monday for the companies representing the supermodels to be subpoenaed, in a move which will compel them to turn in documents related to payments they received from Fyre who hired the models to hype up the event which was scheduled to take in the spring of 2017.

The subpoenas are part of an ongoing investigation as authorities try to determine where approximately $26 million in investor money was spent before the festival failed to happen, and Fyre Festival LLC went bankrupt. Specifically, the trustee seeks answers on the $5.2 million in payments made to agencies and artists.

TMZ reports that the legal documents it obtained showed that Fyre organiser Billy McFarland cut Kendall’s Co. a cheque for $275k back in January 2017. Kendall then posted on Instagram, saying some of Kanye’s artists would headline at the festival.

IMG Models which is home to Bella Hadid, Hailey Baldwin and Elsa Hosk got $1,214,976 from McFarland while DNA Modeling, which reps Emily, received $299k.

The Fyre Festival was a monumental disaster. Concertgoers plunked down thousands after they were promised a luxury oasis but instead were forced to sleep in tents. The food sucked too.

Authorities soon pounced on McFarland to make him pay as he got a 6 years prison sentence. There’s also a $100 million class-action lawsuit against McFarland and rapper JaRule, his partner.
