On Monday, music fans around the world were left wondering after a music chart data Twitter account published a so-called list of Grammy Award winners from the ceremony billed to hold this February.
Main Pop Data, which prides itself as a source for music news, put out a lengthy ‘list of winners’ for the upcoming Grammy ceremony claiming that Cardi B will take home the prize for Record of the Year for her hit “I Like It.” It also revealed that H.E.R. and Lady Gaga would be winners along with Chloe x Halle and the Carters.
Winners of the 2019 #GRAMMYS have apparently been leaked through their official website, with the “Big 3” categories named to the following:
Record of the Year – I Like It
Album of the Year – H.E.R.
Song of the Year – Shallow (@ladygaga)

But the Recording Academy organisers of the prestigious music awards showcase has come out to shut down the released list as fake.
“There is no legitimacy to this. GRAMMY Awards results are not shared, even with Recording Academy staff members, until the day of the GRAMMY Awards ceremony, when names of the recipients are delivered by Deloitte in sealed envelopes,” the organization told the E!Online.
The Grammy awards ceremony will be held on February 10 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be hosted by Alicia Keys
Miley Cyrus, H.E.R., Post Malone and Cardi B are among the stars scheduled perform on the night.
