#LCWWithFayrouz: Our Major Highlights At The Grand Finale Of Lagos Cocktail Week With Fayrouz

The grand finale of the Lagos Cocktail Week With Fayrouz held on October 18, 2018.

It was a night of endless fun as people thronged in to witness the bar battle to determine who emerges as the best cocktail mixer.

There was a whole lot of exciting things that went down at the event but below are our major highlights.

1.Free Food & Drinks!

US star actress Sharon Stone was last week hospitalized in Italy following what is reported to be a ‘medical scare’.

Stone, 54, was at a runway show in Milan on Friday when she began complaining of ‘severe headaches’. She was immediately admitted. Back in 2001, Stone was hospitalized with a brain aneurysm after she had complained of similar symptoms.

She was later released just in time for Aids Research fundraiser on Saturday night.

Sharon Stone has been married twice.

The event had different stands for drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from Fayrouz, Veleta, Sky Vodka, Ofada boy.

There was also delicious food served to the guests including waffles and chicken and chips.

2. The Masterclass was amazing!


The masterclass which held on the last day was conducted by one of the judges, a professional cocktail maker and Europe based mixologist, Milails Minckovskis who gave a very interesting talk on the topic “Think Local”.

3. Networking


An event like this is the best place to network and meet new people who will either help you advance in your professional life or be your buddies.

The event was also attended by many known faces such as; Chef Fregz, MC Lively, Nonso Bassey, Sharon Ooja, Denola grey, Uriel Oputa, Tee-A, Eleanor Goodey, Ono Bello and a host of others.

4. Fun games and Prizes!


The event was mainly about cocktail, but there were lots of exciting games for attendees to play and lots of prizes won.

5. The bar battle:


And the main highlight of the night – the bar battle where contestants showcased their cocktail mixing skills, proving they have been in the game for a number of years and have mastered the art.
The judges had a tough time picking a winner but eventually, Phillip from Nok by Alara was declared winner.
