Serena Williams reveals she really wants an epidural, her strong suspicion that she’s having a girl

What is it? Why are you surprised You!! Yes you!! I can already imagine how wide your eyes have become! LOL! Am I such a naughty girl that I won’t settle down? When I say settle down, I don’t mean marriage o! Abeg abeg abeg! Not yet! I’m talking about a relationship…..for the first time in a long time, I might be saying ‘Yes’ to a committed relationship.

Now, y’all know I’m already in high demand (from the guys and even thegirls) but now the demand has quadrupled!!! Why is it that girls in relationships or girls who are about to get into relationships get so much attention all of a sudden? The toasters are not just normal toasters oh….they are persistent as hell! From the ones who just wanna f*ck to the ones who claim they want something serious!

It’s insane!

My friend ‘D’ said it has something to do with ‘swagger’ (I really hate that word!!!) but that’s the best word to use to describe it.

A woman in a relationship (a good one) seems to have more confidence than a woman who isn’t in one. Her hair is almost always on point, she makes sure she dresses well to impress her man…..she makes sure that she gets her manicures and pedicures regularly…..she’s smelling good, she’s feeling good (if he’s f*cking her well) she’s in a good mood and in some cases glowing sef! Who wouldn’t be attracted to such a person?

Then there are the guys/girls who want to see if they can ‘take’ you from your man/woman. It’s simply an ego thing.

Enough of the lecture! Let me tell you about my potential boo. He’s one of the nicest people I have ever met. Not just to me….but to everyone who comes in contact with him.

He’s very patient and responsible. Good-looking too! (I’m blushing o!). I ‘ m s u r e u g u y s a r e like…’Yeah…yeah….that’s boring! Get to the good part…can he f*ck? Can he satisfy you?’ My answer is ‘yes! Yes!

Yes!’ Forget all the myths you have ever heard about white men not being endowed! He is very endowed and knows what to do with his FTD (fingers, tongue & d*ck)

Yes! I can see your surprised faces again! Lol! He’s white American but has lived in Nigeria on and off………..

Whenever we go out, people stare……it pisses me off! This is 2011!!! Why is inter racial dating still an issue??? *longhiss* Anyway, Brad

(not his real name) and I have gone on numerous dates and he has met my friends, I’ve met his. I met his mom once when she visited him in Naija. He hasn’t met my parents’ sha! I think he’s in love o! I really really like him. . . .dunno about love ye t though….and I’m seriously thinking about saying yes! Just in case you are wondering….he knows about my escapades and I know about his! (He’snaughty too! lol!)

So what do y’all think? Are u worried that I’ll become good and boring? No worries! I’ve got LOADS of stories that I still haven’t told y’all! 🙂

A heavily pregnant Serena Williams sat down with Vogue Magazine for a chatty and insightful interview recently where she talked about the sex of her unborn child, what being a mother means to her and returning to the teens court after childbirth among other things.

The 35-year-old tennis champion was photographed by Mario Testino and styled by Tonne Goodman for the editorial.

See excerpts from the interview below.

On suspecting she’s having a girl: ‘Alexis thinks we’re having a boy, but I have a strong suspicion that it’s a girl,’ she says.

‘Two weeks after we found out, I played the Australian Open. I told Alexis it has to be a girl because there I was playing in 100-degree weather, and that baby never gave me any trouble. Ride or die. Women are tough that way.’

On being nervous about childbirth: ‘I’m nervous about childbirth. I’m not a spring chicken. The one thing I really want is an epidural, which I know a lot of people are against, but I’ve had surgeries galore, and I don’t need to experience any more pain if I can avoid it.

‘But the biggest thing is that I don’t really think I’m a baby person. Not yet. That’s something I have to work on. I’m so used to me-me-me, taking care of my health, my body, my career.

‘I always ask, ‘Am I going to be good enough?’ She looks toward Ohanian, who is blending smoothies in the Vitamix. ‘I know he’ll be great.’

She believes Ohanian would be great with the child

On being perceived as ‘mean’: ‘I feel like people think I’m mean. Really tough and really mean and really street. I believe that the other girls in the locker room will say, ‘Serena’s really nice.’

‘But Maria Sharapova, who might not talk to anybody, might be perceived by the public as nicer. Why is that? Because I’m black and so I look mean? That’s the society we live in. That’s life.

‘They say African-Americans have to be twice as good, especially women. I’m perfectly OK with having to be twice as good.’

On returning to the court after childbirth: ‘It’s hard to figure out what the end of your tennis career should look like. I used to think I’d want to retire when I have kids, but no. I’m definitely coming back.

‘Walking out there and hearing the crowd, it may seem like nothing. But there’s no better feeling in the world.

‘Obviously, if I have a chance to go out there and catch up with Margaret, I am not going to pass that up. If anything, this pregnancy has given me a new power.’

And she plans to defend her Australian Open title come January: ‘It’s the most outrageous plan,’ she says. ‘I just want to put that out there. That’s, like, three months after I give birth. I’m not walking anything back, but I’m just saying it’s pretty intense.’

At her age and stage, there is always the risk of falling short of her previous heights. ‘In this game you can go dark fast. If I lose, and I lose again, it’s like, she’s done. Especially since I’m not 20 years old. I’ll tell you this much: I won’t win less. Either I win, or I don’t play.’
