Kcee recently took Nigerians by surprise when he got busted by an Instagram user who called him out for using his photos as his own.

However, Kcee explained to NET TV in an interview that it was a strategic plan to push one of the songs off his album, Attention to Detail.

‘When it comes to money issues, everybody has an opinion and wants to say something,’ he said.

The Anambra governorship aspirant added, ‘People take pictures of events and post it everyday, but because it was about money, they thought I stole it and started talking.

‘But I am not complaining, because I always want people to talk when I do something.

‘I was promoting a song, ‘Desire’, and one of the phrases in the song was ‘Your love for me no go dey fall like dollar’ so my team and I decided to create a buzz around it.

‘I posted a photo of the dollar saying ‘I desire to get this’ and because people don’t read captions before talking, they judge.

‘We even asked the owner of the account we took the dollar from to comment under the post.

‘It was actually strategic plan to promote the song Kcee, but because people like Negative news, it went viral.’
